Kerrville Folk Festival

Dick has been (for a decade or three) on the faculty of the Kerrville Foundation's Songwriter's School, has served as staff bass player with such acts as Peter Yarrow and Odetta, and has arranged most of the music for the Festival Orchestra which is featured and serves as accompaniment for such artists as Jimmy Lafave, Tish Hinojosa, Trout Fishing in America, and Melissa Javors. Two years ago Goodwin was commissioned to write a piece based on "The Streets of Laredo" for cello soloist, Doug Harman and string orchestra, conducted by David Amram.
